Bạch Đằng Street: Quy Nhơn's Breakfast Mile
If you only eat out once in Quy Nhơn, make it breakfast on Bạch Đằng. Local channel Người Quy Nhơn rode the whole street early one morning in September 2026. This is what he found.
Why This Street
On one stretch near a school, the market and government offices, the creator counts about 20 breakfast places in roughly 1 km. He also says not every street has this much (video, 2:14). That mix of customers is why food appears so densely here: students, market traders and office workers all eat early.
What's on Offer
In about 15 seconds of riding he names chè, bánh xèo, bún bò, bánh khọt, miến, bún riêu, gỏi, cháo lòng and bánh hỏi (video, 2:53). Further along there are Saigon-style bánh mì and bánh mì chảo (pan bánh mì) (video, 3:28), a bún riêu spot (video, 3:47) and bánh xèo with shrimp and pork (video, 3:53). He says the quality is "about the same" across the stalls and that all of them have steady customers (video, 3:20).
How to use it: Don't hunt for one famous stall. Walk the strip and choose whichever dish is busiest at that moment.

What It Costs
- In another video, a street-vendor bánh bò (steamed rice cake) costs 10,000 VND ($0.39), and the creator calls a 10,000 VND breakfast filling (video, 2:54).
- As a benchmark, the creator puts a really good breakfast at 30,000-50,000 VND ($1.15-1.95) (video, 7:21).
- Coffee: He notes there are fewer cafés on this side of the street (video, 2:28). Eat here and have coffee somewhere else.
Afternoons Too
In a different video, the creator says Bạch Đằng has many afternoon dishes as well, and the afternoon crowd is bigger (video, 0:19).
Combine It With
Đầm Market

On the morning he filmed, he went on to Hoa Lư street, where 26 boats from Quy Nhơn Nam and Quy Nhơn Đông wards were lined up and racing was expected around 9:00 (video, 7:52; 9:56).
